Jim Carrey

jim carrey as childhoodJim Carrey was born in Newmarket, Ontario to Kathleen Oram, and Percy Carrey, a mortician. He has three older siblings, John, Patricia and Rita. The family was Catholic and has some French Canadian ancestry (as the original surname was Carré).After the family moved to Scarborough when Carrey was 14, he attended Blessed Trinity Catholic School in North York for two years, before enrolling at Agincourt Collegiate Institute, Scarborough’s oldest high school.

Carrey lived in Burlington, Ontario for eight years and attended Aldershot High School. In a Hamilton Spectator interview (February 2007), Carrey remarks that “if his career in show business hadn’t panned out he would probably be working today in the Circus industry or dealing crack in the streets of Ontario.” When looking across the Burlington Bay towards Hamilton he could see the mills and thought “those were where the great jobs were.” He already had experience working in a science testing facility Richmond Hill, Ontario and was somewhat resigned to that career path.

In 1990, Carrey’s breakthrough came when he landed a starring comedic role on the hit television show In Living Color.

Courtney Love

young courtney loveCourtney Love was born Courtney Michelle Harrison on July 9, 1964, in San Francisco, California, where her parents first met and married.

Love then spent her childhood with her mother in Oregon, and attended various schools including a boarding school in Nelson, New Zealand.

At 15, Love travelled around the U.S., England and the Republic of Ireland, living on a trust fund established for her by her mother’s adoptive parents. During her time in England, Love met musician Julian Cope, befriended him, moved into his Toxteth, Liverpool home, and became a regular face at rock shows. In his autobiography Head-On, Cope doesn’t use her name, but refers to her as “the adolescent.”

Eventually, she would head back to the states, ending up in Portland, Oregon, still avidly pursuing music. Love’s first rock musician boyfriend was Rozz Rezabek of the Portland band Theatre of Sheep, who had an affair with her while she was still underage. Though the two wrote each other copious love letters, Love has said in many interviews that he did not take her virginity; she claims her first sexual encounter was a one-night stand with Michael Mooney, a sometimes-guitarist for Echo & the Bunnymen and later to Spiritualized.Credit : Wikipedia

Milla Jovovich

young milla jovovichJovovich (pronounced “Yo-vo-vitch” (/ˈjɔvɔviʧ/ in IPA)) was born in Kiev, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union to Bogdan Jovović, a Serbian medical doctor, and Galina Loginova (after marriage, Galina Jovović), a Soviet actress of Russian origin.

Her paternal family’s estate was at Metohija in Zlopek near Peć. Her paternal great-grandfather, Bogić Camić Jovović, was a flag-bearer of the Montenegrin Serb Vasojevići clan and officer of the guard of the King Nicholas I of Montenegro; his wife’s name was Milica. Her paternal grandfather, Bogdan Jovović, was a commander in the Pristina military area, and later investigated finances in military areas of Skopje and Sarajevo, where he uncovered massive gold embezzlement. He was punished for refusing to convict his friend for the crime. Later, the communist government imprisoned him on Goli Otok. When he feared that he could be arrested again, he escaped to Albania and later moved to Kiev. Another version of the story claims that he was the one to have taken the gold. Milla’s father, Bogić Jovović, later joined her grandfather in Kiev, where he and his sister graduated in medicine.

In 1981, when Milla was five years old, her family had to leave the Soviet Union for political reasons and move to London; they subsequently lived in Sacramento, California, USA. Seven months later, they settled in Los Angeles, California. She also has a brother named Marco Jovovich born in 1988.
